FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

60 days? Social media? My name on a board? This seems hard. 

You know that saying "if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you"? Well, it's true. This isn't going to be easy. And it's not for everyone. But if you are done with quitting on resolutions after 3 weeks, if you are someone who appreciates a little accountability, and if you looking to make real, meaningful changes in your life, then let's do this.

What if I can't start January 1, or have vacation planned?

The badges can be completed in under a month, so even if you are joining late or have to take time off, you can catch up. Missing a scan or fitness test date? No problem - you can catch up with Bonus Badges.

#wolfpact - what if I don't have an Instagram account?

You can create a free Instagram account just for 60 days - just make it public and tag @crushcamp so we can follow you!

#wolfpact - Can I use stories instead of posts?

If you are in this to win this and want to be eligible for the grand prize, your #wolfpact posts need to still be live on your account when the winners are announced on Friday, March 23.

What is biometric scanning, and how does it work?

Biometric scanning is the most effective way to understand your body composition (percentage of muscle mass, fat mass, mineral, and water content). By completing two scans at least 6 weeks apart, you will be able to measure your success far more accurately than with a scale or measuring tape. The scan is completed by standing on two metal pads barefoot and fully clothed while a small electrical current passes through your body. Your scan appointment will be 15 minutes long and include a personal explanation with recommendations from a licensed and trained technician. Learn more about BioScan here.

What if I'm not available for the scan dates?

Our Personal Training team can complete traditional biometric testing using calipers. To book your appointment send an email to pt@crushcamp.com.

I don't want to do the biometric scanning. Can I still participate?

Absolutely. You will miss out on the scan badges, but you can catch up with the Bonus badges. With that said, we highly recommend completing at least one scan to give you a quantifiable picture of your own health, so that you can set tangible goals.

EARNing YOUR BADGES

GENERAL GOOD TO KNOW

  • As you complete each badge, check in at the front desk and they will give you a shiny gold sicker to put next to your name on the leaderboard

  • Badges do NOT have to be completed in order
  • You do not have to complete every badge, but you do have to complete at least 20 badges to be eligible for the grand prize. There will be 5 bonus badges announced during the contest that you can use as "make-up" badges

SOCIAL MEDIA BADGES

  • Social Media challenges must be completed as Instagram posts (not stories) using the hashtag #wolfpact
  • To be eligible for the grand prize, posts must be live on your account on March 23, when the winners are announced
  • Your Instagram account must be public for us to follow; alternatively, you can allow @crushcamp to follow you
  • Don't have an Instagram account? You can set up a free one just for the challenge

1. Register for the challenge

Get your name on the board! Register for the challenge by completing the form on our website or at the front desk.

2. BioScan Body Composition Assessment #1

BioScans are scheduled for Saturday, January 13 and Saturday March 17 from 9am-1pm. A single scan is $50, or you can purchase two scans for $90 to measure your progress at the beginning and end of 60 days. You can book your appointment here. 3. Share a goal for for the next 60 days on Instagram with the hashtag #wolfpact

Accountability is key to the successful completion of our goals - so share one - any one! Tag @crushcamp and #wolfpact so we can celebrate your goals with you. Note on social media challenges: Only Instagram posts (not stories) count toward this badge. If you are in this to win this, your #wolfpact posts need to still be live on your account when the winners are announced on Friday, March 23. 

4. Bring a friend for a free class - Round 1

Bring a friend for their first CrushCamp class - they get a free class, and you get a sticker! To book your friend in for their free class stop by the front desk or email sweat@crushcamp.com. You have to attend the class together to earn the badge.

5. Complete the ‘Blue Wolf’ Fitness Test and record your results

The "Blue Wolf" is a baseline fitness test that we will use to measure your progress and growth, by completing it at the beginning and end of the challenge. It will be incorporated into a regular class and you will record your results with the front desk.
"Blue Wolf" classes are scheduled for January 18, 21, 22, and can be booked as regular classes.

6. Attend 10 CrushCamp classes during the challenge

Attended 10 classes since January 15? Congrats! Let the front desk team know, claim your sticker, and keep on Crushin'!

7. Book and complete a 15-minute goal consultation with a Coach

Still struggling with those SKILLMILL shuffles? Always wondered if you are doing kettlebell swings correctly? Looking for advice on how to strengthen your core, or roll out your hamstrings? Book a complimentary 15-minute consultation with one of our Personal Trainers and they can give you one-on-one advice, and help you to set a goal to track and measure. 8. Try a new healthy recipe. Share a photo on Instagram #wolfpact

Fitness is only half the battle - how can you clean up what you eat? Try out a healthy recipe - anything that looks great - and share a photo tagging #wolfpact. Note on social media challenges: Only Instagram posts (not stories) count toward this badge. If you are in this to win this, your #wolfpact posts need to still be live on your account when the winners are announced on Friday, March 23. 

9. Go to an instructor's class you've never tried before

Variety is the spice of life! Try a new instructor, and check in at the front desk for your sticker! Already tried everyone? Congrats - you get the sticker for being on top of it!

10. Bring a friend for a free class - Round 2

Bring another friend for their first CrushCamp class - they get a free class, and you get a sticker! To book your friend in for their free class stop by the front desk or email sweat@crushcamp.com. 11. Share a personal success or point of pride #wolfpact

Are you running or rolling for the first time in your life? Are you committed to completing the Wolf Pact Challenge? Did you complete 10 push-ups from your toes? Are you sticking to your commitment of moving or meditating or cooking 3 times per week? Did you ace your presentation at work, or pack your lunch every day? 12. Practice self-love - get a massage, try a restorative class, or take a bubble bath

Over halfway through - congrats! How about some self love? Tell the front desk what you have done for yourself and claim your sticker!

13. Sign up for the Beta, Alpha, or Omega membership

14. Go play outside! Share a photo on social media of getting active out in the community. Use the hashtag #wolfpact 

Winter in Calgary is too long to stay inside - so get outside! Take a walk by the river, go snow shoeing or skiing, or try skating in Bowness? 15. Attend 20 CrushCamp classes during the challenge

Crushed out at least 20 classes in 60 days? Congrats! By now you should be feeling stronger and more confident than ever! Let the front desk know and grab your sticker!

16. Share a selfie with Apollo #wolfpact

Have you met Apollo? Our mascot, the wolf is our symbol of intelligence, freedom, and the strength of the pack. 17. Bring a friend for a free class - Round 3

You've attended 20 or more classes, you've been coming regularly for 2 months, and we promise that you are stronger. Take the Blue Wolf test again and see how much you have grown! Fitness testing will be scheduled for the week of March 12.

19. BioScan Body Composition Assessment #2

We know the scale doesn't tell the full truth, but you've been working hard and the changes are happening! But don't take our word for it - complete your second body composition analysis and find out how your body fat percentage has decreased and lean muscle mass has increased. 

20. Celebrate your success on Instagram! #wolfpact

Share your success with your friends and family! Use #wolfpact and celebrate your accomplishment!
