MEET YOUR COACH

Rachel Hall

Bachelors Kinesiology, CanFit Pro PTS, Precision, Nutrition Level 1

My passion and aptitude for nutrition started young and similarly for most girls, out of teenage self esteem and angst. I had always been active throughout school, but once I joined wrestling, a weight class based sport, my interest peaked and I saw just how malleable our bodies could be with the application of "healthy" nutrition and fitness. Through an environment unfortunately common to many highschools my interest turned into an obsession and an obsession into an eating disorder. Coping through a binge and purge cycle followed me into university and my career as a varsity level athlete. It took me 5 years of eating in secret, purging through ill means and loss of a good friend until I realised I could not "diet" my stress, anxiety and fears away. Fast forward through a degree in human physiology and anatomy into personal training and a nutrition science course and I found both myself and my clients were still approaching nutrition in the same way, "If I just could keep the motivation going!" and "I just need to do it!". I am currently working my way through the second level of a nutrition course where we are tackling diet from a holistic approach. There is and always will be room for looking at what you are eating, macros (protein, carbs and fat) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) but also why and how you are eating. I am passionate about not only helping clients (specifically women) achieve their body composition and health goals but also ensuring they are sustainable. I want to aid in digging into their why to create flourishing bodies and minds. 

Every Coaching program begins with a one-on-one complimentary consultation with me so we can get to know each other and make sure there is a fit. Easy-to-use online platform

You’ll start by telling me all about yourself, including your goals, health challenges, and daily routine. From there, I’ll customize your entire program and we’ll start the proven 12-month coaching process.

Simple nutrition habits and daily check-ins

Every day, you’ll get a lesson and a nutrition or lifestyle habit to practice. You can either read the daily lesson or listen to it like a podcast. We’ll practice a new nutrition habit every two weeks, with every lesson designed to help you get results.

Small yet powerful habits to improve everyday life

Along with your nutrition habits, we’ll work together to create and practice healthy habits across every aspect of your life: from sleep and stress-management to movement and mindfulness. These new habits will help you feel more calm, confident, and prepared for each day—no matter what life throws at you.

Personal coaching and detailed progress checking

I’ll check in with you frequently to see how you’re doing and to answer any questions you have. Also, you can message me whenever you need. The program also tracks everything from your measurements to your habits throughout the year, so you can see just how much progress you’ve made.

I won’t give you a crazy diet or exercise program to follow; instead, I’ll help you build habits that will get you results that last forever.

If you’ve tried something before and “failed” — or just can’t stick with it — know that you’re not alone. And it’s not your fault. After all, self-directed training and nutrition programs fail 98 percent of the time. Not to mention, after many years in the fitness industry, I’ve seen dozens of diet and exercise fads come and go. That’s why I don’t follow fads. Instead, I’ll teach you doable daily actions that are designed to fit into a busy lifestyle. Bottom line: I’ll help you make fitness and nutrition a part of your life, without it taking over.

Food has become less emotionally driven for me.
